My Education

After years of struggling with my own health challenges, researching non stop to help myself and finally healing on my own, I decided it was time for me to get my certification in health coaching. So I could help others the same way I helped myself. Teaching and guiding people to make dietary and lifestyle decisions that allow them to be healthier and happier versions of themselves, has become a passion of mine. I enjoy helping others learn how to be the best version of themselves, inside and out. The power of food and a positive attitude is truly amazing!

 

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, in March of 2019, as an Integrative Nutrition Health and Wellness Coach. I then chose to continue my education at the renowned Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, and graduated from there in May 2019, with my Health Coaching Certification in Family, Children, Adults and Seniors coaching. In addition, I received my certification to teach the Dr. Sears L.E.A.N program for health and wellness.

I am currently attending Arizona State University, working towards my Bachelors of Science, with an emphasis on Healthy Lifestyles Coaching and Fitness Science, as well as a minor in Psychology. This degree will allow me to offer an even greater variety of services to my clients as well as to help more people.

 

Throughout my education, I have learned many innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories –  including: Ayurveda, Gluten-Free, Paleo, Raw, Vegan, Vegetarian, Macrobiotics, Ketogenic diet, and everything in between.  As well as the science behind how and why our body functions the way it does and the positive effect of food in our bodies as medicine.

The knowledge I have acquired through my education, as well as my own personal experiences and research, puts me in an excellent position to help others who may be struggling and aren't sure which way to turn when it comes to their health. My education has taught me many techniques to help guide people who may be struggling, trying to get past health and lifestyle hurdles.
